In this month’s OT&P podcast, Dr David Owens and Professor Ben Cowling discuss the current zero COVID strategy and the difficulty of managing the transition to normal in the context of high vaccine hesitancy. They both argue that vaccinated individuals should be treated as if they are immune. They also argue that risk can never be totally eliminated and policy decisions should be based upon the evidence-based management of risk.
