    Annerley CPR and First Aid Course for Helpers

    Similar to our CPR and First Aid Course for Families, this course is adapted for helpers in language, culture, and education. This interactive, hands-on training focuses on helpers' roles and responsibilities during an accident or emergency.

    Express Babies & Beyond Course

    For soon-to-be parents who have busy schedules or have left their antenatal education a bit too late, OT&P offers an Express Babies and Beyond course, focused on the essential topics about pregnancy and birth, all in a compact format:

    • Led by OT&P’s Annerley Midwives
    • 6.5 hours in total
    • Suitable for pregnant women and their birth partners
    • $4,900 HKD per couple ($2,450 HKD per person)
    • Option to follow up your course with a 30-minute private birth planning session with one of our experienced, registered midwives at a discounted price.

FAQ

What are the differences between the Corporate and Paediatric CPR Training programs?

Our Corporate CPR Training program is tailored for workplace settings, focusing on adult CPR and first aid skills, ideal for employees and managers. On the other hand, the Paediatric CPR and First Aid course is designed for parents, teachers, and caregivers, concentrating on CPR and first aid techniques specific to infants and children.

Are there any prerequisites and basic requirements to participate in the CPR training programs?

There are no specific prerequisites for enrolling in our CPR training courses. These programs are designed for individuals without prior first aid or CPR experience. The following are the age requirements for each program: 

  • Ages 14 and over can participate in the Basic Life Support Training Program. 
  • Ages 16 and over can participate in the Paediatric CPR and First Aid program. 
  • Ages 18 and over can participate in the Corporate CPR and First Aid program.

How long does each CPR training programme last?

Corporate CPR and First Aid Training Program: Minimum of 6 contact hours. Course should be completed within a day but can be spread over a longer period, given it is completed within 4 weeks of starting the course and training sessions last at least two hours.

Paediatric CPR and First Aid Training Program: Total Qualification Time (TQT) is 7 hours, with at least 6 Guided Learning Hours (GLH) in the classroom and some pre-course study required. The qualification can be delivered over a maximum of a 4-week period, with each training session lasting at least 2 hours.

Basic Life Support Program: Minimum of 3 contact hours in the classroom, consisting of practical and theoretical activities. The course can be delivered in 1 day or spread over a maximum of 3 weeks, with each session is a minimum of 1 hour.

How large will the program class sizes be?

A maximum of 12 participants can be accommodated, with 1 instructor teaching the course.

What qualifications will I receive upon completing the training?

Upon completion, participants will receive an e-certificate with a 3-year validity. The certificate in first aid for the Paediatric Program is an FAA Award in Emergency Paediatric First Aid, and the Corporate Program provides an FAA Award in Emergency First Aid at Work. The certificate in first aid for the Basic Life Support Program is an FAA Award in Basic Life Support. All three certificates are certified through NUCO Training and First Aid Awards Ltd.
