Usage

What is Lamisil used for? 

Lamisil is used to treat a variety of fungal infections such as: 

  • Athlete's foot (tinea pedis) 
  • Jock itch (tinea cruris) 
  • Ringworm (tinea corporis) 
  • Fungal nail infections (onychomycosis) 

How do you use Lamisil? 

Availability: 

Lamisil is available in cream, tablet, and spray forms. 

Dosage information: 

  • Cream/Spray:  
  • Adults and Children over 12 years: Apply to the affected area once or twice daily for 1 to 2 weeks. 
  • Tablets:  
  • Adults: 250 mg once daily for 6 weeks (fingernail) or 12 weeks (toenail). 
  • Children: Usage and dose should be determined by a healthcare provider.

  • Children: Cream and spray can be used by children over 12. Tablets are generally not recommended for children unless prescribed. 
  • Adults: Suitable for adults across all forms.
