How do you use Mefenamic Acid? 

Availability: 
Mefenamic Acid is available in capsule, tablet and oral suspension form. 

Dosage information: 

  • Adults and children over 14 years: 500 mg three times a day with food, as initial dose for acute pain.
  • Maintenance dose: 250 mg every 6 hours as needed.

  • Children: Not recommended for children under 14 years. 
  • Adults: Suitable for adults. 
  • Elderlies: Use with caution due to increased risk of adverse effects, such as gastrointestinal and kidney issues.
