Stemetil is available in tablet form, oral liquid, as an injection and also as a suppository.

• Adults: For nausea and vomiting, 5-10 mg three to four times per day. Suppository: 25 mg twice daily 

• Children: Dose varies depending on age and weight, typically 2.5-5 mg two to three times per day for children over 1 year old. 

• Elderlies: Lower doses are often necessary due to increased sensitivity to side effects and possible drug-drug interaction (with maintenance medications).
