Where Can I Get the Japanese Encephalitis Vaccine in Hong Kong?

Currently, there are two types of Japanese encephalitis vaccines provided in travel health centres in Hong Kong:

1. Inactivated vaccine: For use in travellers aged 2 months and above. The immunisation schedule is 2 doses administered on days 0 and 28. The vaccination should be completed at least 1 week before travel.
2. Live attenuated vaccine: For use in individuals aged 9 months or above. The immunisation schedule is 1 dose administered at least 14 days before travel for adults and at least 28 days for children.

You can administer the Japanese Encephalitis Vaccine in various private health clinics in Hong Kong, with OT&P being one of them. Your doctor can also review any other vaccines which you may require. The following OT&P clinics have the Japanese Encephalitis Vaccine available for you to administer:
