Experience
Grace Leung-Aprea graduated from Columbia University, USA with a Master of Science in Speech-Language Pathology. She completed her clinical fellowship at Long-Island College Hospital, New York and holds a Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) from the American Speech and Hearing Association (ASHA). She then continued her work in New York in a variety of medical settings assessing and treating children, adults, and geriatrics, working closely with ENTs, audiologists, and neurologists. In Hong Kong, Grace continues to provide evaluation and intervention services for patients with speech and language delays/disorders, voice disorders, fluency disorders, oral-motor disorders, swallowing and feeding disorders, cognitive-linguistic impairments, and social skills, pragmatic language disorder. She believes in working closely with the patients’ family and carers to ensure the best care and functional outcome for the patients. Grace has previously taught in China for World Health Organization projects. She has also provided clinical supervision at The University of Hong Kong. She has contributed to research publications in The Journal of Voice and presented at international conventions and symposiums. Grace speaks fluent English, Cantonese, and conversational Mandarin.
