Dermatology & Venereology

Preventive and corrective Dermatology treatments

What is OT&P's approach to Dermatology?

Dermatology refers to the scientific study concerned with the diagnosis and treatment of skin disorders. Because the field covers a range of skin-related issues that may overlap with cosmetology and skincare, there can be a lot of conflicting advice on how best to treat skin problems.

At OT&P, we provide dermatology advice from a medical standpoint. Our in-house dermatologist is a certified doctor trained in internal medicine and dermatology, who takes patients' health history into account and advises on preventative care. Outside of skin treatment, our dermatologist can also provide consultation on the health of your hair and nails.

When should you see a Dermatologist?

It's best to book a dermatologist appointment when you are experiencing chronic itchiness, hair loss, worsening acne or any other concerning skin problems.

Our dermatologist specialises in clinical adult and paediatric dermatology, and can handle common cases like atopic eczema, contact allergic dermatitis, viral warts, mole checking, psoriasis, fungal skin, and nail infections.

We also welcome consultations for those considering cosmetic-related procedures (including chemical peels, and dermal fillers) or require preventative care for skin health.
